Support Us
Dear Friends of Echo Pond,
Like it has been for many organizations, 2022 has been a year of revival and renewal for Echo Pond Environmental Education Centre.
After two years of intermittent closures, it’s terrific to see the Centre alive once again with the energy of youth playing in, and learning about, our extraordinary natural environment. Our spring and fall school programs have been busy with the return of friends, old and new, from various schools across the English School District. Plus, this summer saw the biggest—and most sun-soaked—Echo Pond Summer Camp ever.
As you may know, over the past few years we’ve been fortunate to have the financial support of the Fry Family Foundation. Their support, along with the dedication of our staff and volunteers, has allowed us to weather the pandemic. This year, the Fry Family Foundation has generously offered to match every dollar we receive in donations.
This means that there’s no better time to donate to Echo Pond EEC. When you donate, your impact will be doubled. The timing is great, because Echo Pond EEC is hard at work to develop new, accessible programs and expand our space so more participants can experience what the wilderness around Echo Pond has to offer.
Donating is simple and quick. You can donate through CanadaHelps, visit our GoFundMe campaign, e-transfer to Nicole, send a cheque to the address below, or contact us to make a securities transfer. As well, if it’s an option for you, sharing your donation on social media really helps boost our campaign.
Since we’re a registered charity, we’re pleased to issue a tax receipt for every donation.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, I’d like to thank each of you for being a part of the Echo Pond community. You make our work possible, and inspire us to keep the love of nature alive for our visitors.
